RAPID3 includes an assessment of physical function, a patient global assessment (PGA) for pain, and a PGA for global health. To calculate RAPID3, the raw 0–3 scores for physical function from 10 questions of the multidimensional Health Assessment Questionnaire (MDHAQ) are summed (totalling 0–30) and converted to 0–10 by dividing by 3. Pain and global health are assessed according to 10 cm "patient global assessment (PGA)" visual analogue scales (VAS), both scoring 0–10. The three 0–10 scores (for physical function, pain VAS and global VAS) are added together for a raw score of 0–30 (the "RAPID3 cumulative score"). This is sometimes divided by 3 to give an adjusted 0–10 score for comparison with other RAPID indices. Therefore, we can't allow the RAPID-3 to be hosted and made publicly available at no cost. The RAPID-3 can be integrated and administered via tablet device for any user who has a license to use the scale in their individual project/clinic. [...
